Friends of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks
Through the Moab Field Office, you can find opportunities to be a “Camp Host” with the Bureau of Land Management. Volunteer tasks include: “provide visitor information, encourage fee compliance, conduct daily campground inspections, and perform light cleaning and maintenance. Expect daily interactions with visitors, including answering questions regarding area recreational opportunities, and informing visitors of rules and regulations within the campground.” These volunteer positions are posted in the volunteer.gov database, more information here.
