In Bigs & Littles NYC’s keystone mentoring program, youth ages 7-19 are carefully matched with a Big Sister or Big Brother who serves as adviser, role model, and adult friend. Matches are supported by a dedicated Professional Program Manager to oversee and guide the match relationship offering referrals and additional resources as needed.

As a Peer Mentoring Tutor, volunteers will help students struggling with distance learning by providing tutoring services in various subjects. Volunteers will work virtually, ensuring quality education and support for students.

During weekly mentoring sessions, volunteers help students prepare for college by focusing on topics such as Money Management, Financial Aid, and Setting Goals. Volunteers make a year-long commitment to attend meetings on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
