Volunteers are needed to help organize and work at various community events such as concerts, festivals, and holiday celebrations. Responsibilities include event planning, decoration, and managing sponsorships and donations.

Assist with answering incoming phone calls and directly phone calls, round on patients, providing friendly visits, assist with meal tray set up and assist with inventory on units.

Greet patients, families, and their visitors in the waiting room and in patient rooms. Provide comfort to patients with examples like pillows, blankets, meal vouchers, coffee, water, chairs, etc. Assist staff with routine duties such as errands, making copies, stocking of supplies.

The ICU Volunteer supports and assists the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) staff by serving as a liaison between family members and ICU staff. The volunteer greets all visitors to the ICU, maintains a current census of ICU patients, and facilitates answers to visitor questions regarding patient availability for visits and physician and staff accessibility.

We are eagerly accepting registered Pet Therapy Dogs (TDI) to provide visitation to the patients, staff and family members at Ellis Medicine.

The Clerical Assistant Volunteer supports department staff with clerical needs and projects. Responsibilities may include: filing, shredding confidential information, data entry, preparing mailings, making phone calls, copying and other duties and/or projects as assigned by department.

The Gift Shop volunteer provides support to the manager and assistance to the manager in the day-to-day operation of the hospital gift shop. Responsibilities include: greeting all patients and visitors, stocking, pricing, merchandising and other duties as assigned.

Visit with the residents to provide companionship and engage in activities like puzzles and games. Volunteers help foster friendships and a sense of community among the residents.

Lead activities such as BINGO, gardening, music appreciation, and arts & crafts for the residents. Volunteers are encouraged to share their specific talents or special skills with the residents.

The Activities Assistant assists activity staff in providing recreational activities to the residents of Ellis Center for Long Term Care.

At our distribution centers, you will sort various donations and get them ready to go to our neighbors in your community. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and dress comfortably for the weather.

Volunteers assist with office support, data entry, donation intake, and organizing donations. They may also help with event registration, parking, and other tasks depending on the event.

Assist guests with obtaining a 3-day supply of emergency food and help with organizing and maintaining the food pantry.

Mentors are needed to support young parents by sharing life skills, increasing self-sufficiency, and developing stronger parenting skills. Volunteers meet monthly with participants and provide guidance and support.

Volunteer educators are needed to host seminars, classes, and programs for young parents on various topics, including parenting, wellness, and creative arts. Volunteers should have expertise in a relevant subject area.

Join our team of friendly and compassionate volunteers during our pantry hours of operation. Responsibilities include distributing products to guests, greeter, intake, packing bags, sorting and packing products, stocking shelves, cleaning, and data entry. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.

Set up and serve beverages to customers prior to performances and during intermission. Responsibilities include accepting cash and making change. Beverages served include beer, wine, soft drinks, and water. This position involves carrying and is not suitable for individuals with physical limitations.

Assist patrons with seating, distribute programs, and provide assistance during performances. Ushers must be able to work throughout the theatre comfortably, including climbing to the top of the balcony, and assist with building evacuation in emergencies.

Greet and serve complimentary beverages in the VIP Lounge. This role involves providing excellent customer service to VIP patrons.
