Provide resources, referrals, and support to callers on the 24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline. Volunteers must be 18+, complete a 40-Hour DV Training, and commit for one year.

Join the 24-Hour Crisis Response Team to provide crisis intervention, support, and resources to survivors of domestic violence. Volunteers must be 18+, have a valid NJ driver's license, and complete a 40-Hour DV Training with a commitment of one year.

Provide care for children while their parents receive services such as counseling or skills training. Volunteers must have childcare experience and complete DV 101 Training.

Support domestic violence survivors in job readiness by assisting with resume building, job searches, and interview skills. Volunteers must be 18+ and commit for one year after completing DV 101 Training.

Volunteers may help in a variety of ways, including joining as a corporate volunteer group, spending time with individuals, assisting in agency fundraising events, or helping office staff with administrative tasks. Skills-based volunteering opportunities are also available.

Join our 9-week hybrid training program to become a Crisis Counselor. Volunteers will learn essential listening skills and how to support individuals in crisis, participating in both in-person and remote sessions.

Volunteers support survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones by attending a 40+ hour training to become a Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate. Volunteers must commit to at least one year of service, including three hotline shifts per month.

Volunteers participate in plantings, clean-ups, and other essential projects to help parks thrive. Responsibilities include removing litter, invasive plants, and maintaining trails.

Coordinate food and toy drives, work at the annual holiday party, create birthday bags, and assist with the regional Holiday Wish Lists. Volunteers help provide essential material support to families.

Serve as a spokesperson for ECF by introducing the organization to schools, churches, and community groups. Volunteers can make presentations and help with corporate connections.

Organize events such as Dress Down Days, concerts, raffles, or other creative fundraisers in your community. Work with our Regional Directors to bring your ideas to life and support our mission.

Perform light typing, data entry, filing, answering phones, and internet research. Bilingual volunteers can assist with translation services for Spanish-speaking clients.

Assist in the Regional Centers’ food pantries by stocking shelves, packing groceries for families, and making food deliveries. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring families have access to necessary food supplies.

Administrative volunteers assist staff with clerical tasks such as typing, organizing newsletters, and managing office duties. This role supports the operational side of hospice care, ensuring that the team can focus on patient care.

High school students can participate in various activities including companionship visits and office work. This program allows students to fulfill community service requirements while gaining valuable experience.

As a companionship volunteer, you will provide vital support by visiting patients, reading to them, or simply being there to listen. Your presence can offer comfort and respite to caregivers during challenging times.

Volunteers are needed at the Hope Chest in Downtown Westfield, where they can assist with various tasks to support the charitable efforts of the Center for Hope. This role allows volunteers to engage with the community and contribute to a meaningful cause.
