Must be highly motivated and physically fit individuals who can commit to the training demands and the duties described below. Performs firefighting duties such as: Drives fire apparatus, operates the pump and other auxiliary equipment, lays and connects hoses, sets up scene lighting, performs traffic control, assists interior firefighters with air bottle changes and filling of air bottles, assists incident commanders with personnel accountability and communications, and responds and performs emergency medical assistance to the level of certified training. Participates in fire drills and attends training classes in apparatus operations, firefighting, first aid and other related subjects. Handles routine custodial maintenance of the Fire Company equipment, apparatus and quarters. Conform to the safety requirements of the Fire Company.
