We are a diverse department seeking men and women to join our team of volunteers. We are looking for people who are eager to serve and protect the community that we live in. Our department responds to incidents such as structure fires, vehicle fires, grass & brush fires, vehicle accidents, rescue extrication from vehicles and machinery, boat and marina fires, water rescues and other call for service. There is no experience necessary. Fairdealing-Olive Fire Department responds to approx. 300+ calls for service per year, providing fire, rescue, and EMS assistance to our community and mutual aid to our surrounding departments in Marshall County.. Joining a volunteer fire department is a unique way to give back to your community and help those in their time of most need. As a volunteer firefighter or EMT, you will receive monthly training at the station. Additional formal training is available at no cost for those who choose to pursue state certification.
