Removal from probationary status requires that the aforementioned requirements be fulfilled along with the probationary requirements of their membership classification. All members must attend 50% of all regular monthly business meetings (6 per year) held on the first Monday of every month, and all special meetings unless excused. All personnel are responsible for assisting in the fund-raising efforts of the organization. Failure to complete the minimum requirements can result in termination of membership. New Firefighters must complete a NYS Firefighter I course within one to two years of acceptance into membership. Probationary firefighters will not be allowed to attend any other courses prior to completion of the Firefighter I course. Lead tours for the general public, adult organizations, school-age children, or youth groups. Volunteers receive training in nature interpretation, and additional optional trainings are provided annually.

Support the NMA Summer Picnic by helping unload and load equipment, clean up the shelter, and acquire donations for raffle tables. Volunteers will assist in ensuring the event runs smoothly and is enjoyable for all attendees.
Inclusive Theater of WNY (ITOWNY)
Support the audition process for upcoming productions by managing sign-ins, assisting directors, and organizing audition materials.
