We need men and women to be Volunteer Firefighters and/or Medical First Responders to serve our area. | Requirements: Applicants need to be physically capable to perform the duties of a firefighter or a Medical First Responder. Kentucky Volunteer Firefighter certification requires 150 hours of training which can be acquired over several years and is provided by the Department and KY Fire Rescue Training. Participate in the urban farm-to-table initiative, emphasizing nature-centered ethics and sustainable practices. Volunteers will engage in activities that promote healthy eating and sustainable living.

Assist in the development and support of sustainable living systems for vulnerable young people, including foster care youths and emancipating young adults. Volunteers will help in implementing innovative housing programs and safe placement services.
