Design or program our website, support our databases, and provide media/tech support for conferences and new facilities.

Transport dogs from CCHS and other locations to adoption sites and back via your own vehicle. This role is crucial in ensuring animals reach their foster or adoption locations safely.

Ensure pets are up to date on all medical requirements prior to attending adoption events, ensure medical information is in our database, and help fosters with medical questions.

Work with our highest need dogs on manners, socialization, and basic obedience to make them more adoptable. Volunteers are eligible to take dogs on field trips and participate in training opportunities.

Assist adoption staff at offsite locations by answering questions from the public and facilitating introductions between potential adopters and available animals. Follow up with clients after adoption to check in and direct them to an expert to answer their questions or concerns.

Help educate the public about CPA! and our mission. Create promotional materials including brochures, ads, posters, and flyers, and seek public speaking opportunities.

Take and post digital photos and videos of shelter and foster animals for marketing materials. Experience and DSLR camera strongly preferred.

Write a variety of different marketing materials, create animal biographies, and edit publications to support CPA!'s mission.

Promote CPA!’s mission and recruit volunteers, fosters, adopters, and donors at special events around town. Work at info tables and booths, and hang out with adoptable animals while representing Clermont Pets Alive!.

Assist in finding individual and business sponsors, researching and writing grants, overseeing donor recognition, and developing and assisting with fundraising events.

Provide temporary care for cats or dogs in your home until they can be adopted. Volunteers must be the owner/renter of their home and fill out a Foster Care Volunteer Application.

Enter data to keep our processes running smoothly. This role supports the administrative functions necessary for the adoption process.

Work with the Clermont County Humane Society to determine which animals to bring into the adoption program, coordinate incoming animals with the Foster Coordinator, input new animal info into our database, and arrange/provide for transport to foster homes.
