An instrument instructor teaches beginning and/or advanced instruction on one instrument: guitar, bass, keys, drums, or vocals. We teach a rudimentary curriculum with the expectation that every camper has learned at least three chords for the week, can play in time, and understands gear basics (plugging in, tuning, troubleshooting).

Our Best Today, For a Better Tomorrow Exploring is all about helping young men and women ages 14 to 21 years old to make a more informed decision about future careers and determine if a particular career is the right one for them. As it pertains to the Fire Service, Explorers get to experience firsthand what it is like to be a volunteer firefighter through firefighting training and ride-alongs during actual fire calls.
