Northwest Fire Prot Dist
Northwest Fire Protection District is hiring paid per call Firefighters and EMT's for both of our stations that serve the northwest area of Rockford. Our department has a growing need due to a steadily increasing number of fire and medical call outs. No experience is necessary but commitment, respect and a willingness to learn is. New personnel will be required to have a Basic Fire Ops or EMT certification within 18 months of hire. Training is on Monday night or Saturday morning and you would be expected to attend and participate.
