Y’all Rock Carbondale
An instrument instructor teaches beginning and/or advanced instruction on one instrument: guitar, bass, keys, drums, or vocals. We teach a rudimentary curriculum with the expectation that every camper has learned at least three chords for the week, can play in time, and understands gear basics (plugging in, tuning, troubleshooting).

Save Them All Animal Rescue
Volunteers are needed to assist with bathing and grooming animals, as well as exercising them while they wait to be adopted. Volunteers can also help at future events organized by the rescue.

Assist in the replacement of aging climbing anchors at Jackson Falls recreation area. Volunteers will help ensure the safety and sustainability of climbing routes by installing new, stainless steel hardware.

Assist the Jackson County Historical Society with various technology-related tasks. Volunteers should be comfortable with computers and willing to help with digital projects.

The Williamson County Fire Protection District (W.C.F.P.D.) consists of 7 fire stations through out Williamson County. The district is managed by a full time paid Chief, 3 Career Firefighters and a Secretary. The district has a wide variety of specialized equipment and well equipped trained paid-on-call members. The district is equipped for most emergencies that may arise with 8 engines, 7 tenders with 2,200 gallons of water each, 7 brush trucks, and 50 Paid On Call firefighters. This is not a full time job that you can live off of we pay out a stipend once a year based on the amount of calls and training's you attend, that being said many of our members have went on to be career firefighters! | Requirements: You must be 18 years of age. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate the Welcome Home Celebration for veterans returning from their flights. Responsibilities include wearing patriotic attire, making signs, and assisting in welcoming veterans home. Groups with children under 18 are encouraged to participate.
