Join the Blue Institute team as a volunteer or academic intern to support interdisciplinary actions for resilient oceans and waters. Volunteers and interns will engage in various activities to promote education, collaboration, and innovation in water conservation and climate resiliency.

As a 'Friend of Gardens for Charlestown,' volunteers are required to contribute five volunteer hours a year to maintain their Community Membership. Responsibilities include assisting with garden maintenance such as watering and helping with border gardens.

Contribute to the documentation and preservation of Charlestown's sports history. Volunteers will engage in research and help organize sports-related events and exhibitions.

Corporate groups can volunteer by organizing a corporate responsibility day, which includes activities such as virtual workshop facilitation and conducting clothing drives to support the mission of Tailored For Success.

Volunteers are needed to facilitate workshops that help clients with career development, job readiness, and building stronger self-worth. These workshops can be conducted individually or in a group setting.

Assist with research, writing, planning, and communication for 5-10 hours per week. Opportunities to take on multiple roles or manage projects for 10-15 hours per week are available. For those interested in more than 15 hours, contact hr@awlci.org.

Tutor adult ESOL and medical Spanish students 1-3 times per week for 5+ hours. Facilitate interactive activities to enhance intercultural understanding and language education.

Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning for English, Literacy, and medical Spanish courses for 7+ hours per week. Focus on an interactive approach to language learning with training provided.

Volunteers can support administratively, in marketing, or in programming with children. Volunteers are expected to commit to being onsite at a program for at least 3 hours to help cultivate relationships with students.

Work with a panel of other judges to conduct professional-style interviews with students, providing them with an opportunity for personal growth and skill development.

Collaborate with a panel of judges to listen to and evaluate students' prepared and impromptu speeches, helping them develop public speaking skills.

Join us to help with assisting shoppers, stocking shelves, and unloading deliveries at the Malden YMCA Market. There is some lifting required for any volunteer position in this program, especially on delivery days (Wednesdays and Fridays).

Participate in health and wellness education programs and workshops. Provide information on medication compliance, healthy outcomes, and lifestyle choices to the underprivileged.

Engage with local communities to build strong relationships and raise awareness about drug compliance. Collaborate with other local organizations to address challenges of drug abuse and provide strategies to control it.
