East End Fire Department is a progressive volunteer combination department. We respond to between 800-1000 calls a year, 75% medical, 25% fire. We have three fire stations, 3 engines, 1 rescue, and 2 brush trucks to cover our 50 square mile area. We work hard, train hard, and play hard as a family, this job can get pretty serious at times, so you have to have fun when you can. Support the planning and execution of events and fundraising activities. Volunteers will assist with logistics, setup, and coordination to ensure successful events.

Assist in organizing and conducting wellness programs, including exercise classes and cooking courses, aimed at improving community health. Volunteers will work closely with staff to ensure smooth execution of programs.

Volunteers contribute to the education of musically gifted students by supporting various programs and events throughout the year. Responsibilities may include assisting with music workshops, events, and administrative tasks.

Transporters are needed to transport cats to and from rescue sites. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license, up-to-date car insurance, and a clean driving record.

This position is ideal for high school, college, or prospective vet students. Interns perform tasks like paperwork, sending follow-up emails, and assisting with promotional events.

Fostering saves lives by opening up space in our facility to take in more cats. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and complete an application to determine eligibility.

Assist with taking down tents, clearing out the arena, and cleaning up the grounds after the event. Volunteers are greatly appreciated for their help in wrapping up the event.

Help out on event day by serving as a scribe, runner, ring steward, or at the award table. Your participation is crucial for a smooth and successful event.

Assist in setting up the arena, tents, and other necessary equipment on the Saturday prior to the event. Your efforts will help ensure each event day is a success.
