The Colona Fire Department is always looking for volunteers to join our department. Colona Fire Department is a volunteer fire department serving the residents of the Colona Community Fire Protection District. We are a non-transport fire department with 3 stations specializing in fire suppression, rescue, EMS, Hazmat, water rescue and technical rescue along with various community events. No experience necessary. training provided. | Requirements: 1: At least 18 years of age. Assist in organizing and distributing meals to those in need through our Street Feeds program. Volunteers will help set up, serve meals, and engage with community members to ensure a welcoming environment.

Participate in setting up and running Pop Up Kitchens, preparing and serving meals to community members. Volunteers will collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience.

Participate in the annual Christmas Bird Count by joining field parties to census bird populations or by counting birds at feeders. This event helps track bird species and populations in the Quad Cities area.

Help organize and deliver holiday meals to families in need. Volunteers will assist with meal preparation, packaging, and delivery to ensure families receive their meals on time.
