Puppet Makers will help physically create puppets for the Waves of Change event. All skill levels are welcome, and you can participate in workshops to bring your creative ideas to life.

Work with Parade Coordinators to prepare audio equipment and select music for the parade. Skills in videography are encouraged to help capture the event's creativity.

Monitors will ensure the safety of participants along the parade route. This role requires attendance at a training session and involves walking the full parade route on the day of the event.

Help wrap up the event by joining the Clean-Up Crew after the parade. This role involves packing supplies and materials and requires attending an after-parade meeting.

As a Puppet Pod Captain, you will lead the design and creation of Puppet Pods for the Waves of Change event. Join community meetings to brainstorm ideas and collaborate with other creative individuals.

Help out at our adoption events on Saturday afternoons at General Feed & Seed. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down tables and kennels, transporting animals, and assisting potential adopters in meeting our animals.

If you have technical skills, assist with data entry, social media management, or keeping our website up to date. Non-tech-savvy individuals can help with traditional mail tasks such as sending thank you cards and newsletters.

Join our volunteer team to help care for rescued horses and assist in running essential programs at Pregnant Mare Rescue and Beyond Liberty. No prior horse experience is required, and we will provide training for all necessary tasks.

Participate in the Manresa Uplands Cleanup and Campout on March 28 & 29, 2026. Volunteers will assist in cleanup efforts and enjoy a campout experience, with tools and refreshments provided.

Work involves training for and participating in duties of protecting life and property through the performance of firefighting and emergency service activities. Volunteer Firefighters are required to learn and participate in the operation of apparatus and the performance of hazardous tasks under emergency conditions which may require strenuous exertion under such handicaps as smoke, fire, heat and cramped surroundings. Although firefighting and emergency services work constitutes the primary and most difficult and responsible area of work, the volunteer is also required to drill attending at least 70% of the drills. These drills consist of practice sessions dealing with various aspects of firefighting, rescue, hazardous materials awareness, and emergency medical work. Time spent at the station may consist of studying, custodial care and a wide variety of maintenance of departmental facilities, apparatus and equipment. Work is usually performed in accordance with explicit instructions and well defined procedures; however, performance of the work requires initiative and the exercise of independent judgment.
