The mission of the department is to serve and protect which involves not only keeping the community safe from fire and other emergencies but becoming involved in community activities and making a difference. | Requirements: Must be over 18 and in good physical condition. Must be willing to attend twice monthly meetings and education/training modules including some weekends. Must be willing to fight fire whenever needed. Community services include helping at Easter egg hunt, lucky ducky day, parades and the annual fourth of July fire events. Must agree to follow the standard operating procedures of the Department.
