Support the Empower Yourself MA community by engaging with members and assisting in various program activities. Volunteers will help foster a supportive environment for students.

Assist in organizing and managing events for Empower Yourself MA, supporting students in their educational journey. Volunteers will help with logistics, coordination, and ensuring smooth event execution.

Teach and mentor students in Empower Yourself MA programs, focusing on financial literacy, STEM, and other educational areas. Volunteers will provide guidance and support to help students succeed.

The Treasurer keeps accurate accounts of all financial transactions, works with the Membership Director to maintain a membership list, and submits financial reports at meetings. They also prepare filings required by state and federal agencies.

The Civil Records Director acts as the Corporation’s representative at legislative and administrative hearings, recommends policies, and files reports on actions taken. They coordinate with the Records Preservation and Access Committee.

The Secretary keeps accurate minutes of all meetings, provides copies to the Executive Board, and notifies members of meetings. They maintain a file of the Corporation’s correspondence and ensure proper distribution of mail.

The Archives Director is responsible for the custody and preservation of the Corporation’s records and maintains an inventory of all legal documents and property.

The Genetic Genealogy Director monitors changes in DNA access laws, advancements in genealogy research, and terms of service affecting genealogy website users.

The Advancement Director raises funds to support the Corporation, identifies growth opportunities, and maintains a list of supporters. They plan support campaigns in coordination with officers and directors.

Capture moments and activities during events and workshops to help document and promote the organization's work. Responsibilities include taking high-quality photos and editing them for use in promotional materials.

Assist in organizing and executing community events, helping to create a welcoming environment for participants. Responsibilities include event setup, participant registration, and providing general support during events.

Manage and create content for the organization's social media platforms to engage the community and raise awareness about events and initiatives. Responsibilities include creating posts, responding to inquiries, and tracking engagement metrics.

Record and produce video content for events and workshops, contributing to the organization's storytelling and outreach efforts. Responsibilities include filming, editing, and producing video content.

Coordinate and manage volunteer activities and schedules. Ensure effective communication between volunteers and the organization.

Transport animals to and from veterinary appointments. Ensure safe and comfortable travel for the animals.

Plan and coordinate fundraising events to support the organization's mission. Engage with the community to raise awareness and funds.

Provide administrative support to the organization. Assist with paperwork, scheduling, and communication tasks.

Research and write grant proposals to secure funding for the organization's programs. Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information.

Assist with processing adoption applications and coordinating the adoption process. Ensure a smooth transition for animals into their new homes.
