The North Syracuse Fire Department offers a free room and board program for student who are attending local colleges. Each bunk-in is provided a place to live during their college semester. In exchange for the free room and board the student attends weekly fire department training and provides a service as a volunteer firefighter during a scheduled shift. Our facilities are close to all Syracuse, NY area colleges and offers all the amenities needed for students.
