Looking for individuals who are interested in gaining fire and EMS skills while getting assistance with College Tuition. We have a few openings in our student volunteer program. As a student Volunteer you would fill a 24 hour shift as a Intern Firefighter and help respond to any emergency calls while on shift. In return we would help with reimbursement toward your college degree. Student Interns must be enrolled to obtain either an EMS degree or a Fire services degree. Enjoy the amazing art while helping to promote the library at Hillsboro's summer artistic showcase, La Strada held on Main Street in downtown Hillsboro. Volunteers help set up the outreach display, run the activity table, guide families through fun crafts, and hand out free books. Great event for creative, chatty people.
