Newark Volunteer Fire Department is always seeking new volunteers for firefighters, EMTs, and Auxiliary Members to support our operations and fundraising. We provide training and opportunities to obtain career certifications such as EMT and Firefighter I and II. We have one station, three apparatus, and 15 current members. Newark VT is a rural town of 584 residents and more seasonal residents. We provide EMS first response as well as fire response. There are no pre-requisites or skill sets required as you will be bringing your unique set of interests and abilities to the fire service. As a member, you will engage in one business meeting and two in-house trainings per month.
