Program Assistants support Program Co-Leaders in delivering engaging programs, including setting up, capturing media, and assisting participants. This role requires a commitment of 60-90 minutes, 1-2 times a month.

Support the planning and execution of events and fundraising activities. Volunteers will assist with logistics, setup, and coordination to ensure successful events.

Assist in organizing and conducting wellness programs, including exercise classes and cooking courses, aimed at improving community health. Volunteers will work closely with staff to ensure smooth execution of programs.

We are eager to find other volunteers that would like to join the Paron Fire Department. We were established in 1984 and have three stations and three pumper/engines, one tanker truck, one rescue truck and an ambulance. We meet for training every Wednesday night at the main station - 16514 Smithers Road, just off Highway 9 in Paron. We welcome any help! | Requirements: The requirements are based on the position you would be interested in filling. A firefighter will need to get trained (which we can arrange) and gear (which we will provide) and be in reasonably good health. An EMT or Paramedic will have state approved medical training.
