Help with off-site adoption events by setting up, interacting with potential adopters, and assisting with the care of animals during the event. Volunteers will play a crucial role in finding homes for our animals.

This includes answering phones, taking messages, light office work (such as filing, faxing, making copies, etc.), setting up refreshments, and other customer service duties. This includes heavy contact with Center members. Good communication and organizational skills are required. Shifts are available Mondays through Fridays from 9AM-Noon.

Do you have an artistic talent or hobby that you can teach to others? Contact us to schedule a 45-minute to 1-hour craft session here at the Center. We will supply all the needed materials.

From time to time assistance is needed with one of our many social events. Duties can include decorating, setting up for events, and serving food. Can also include on-site assistance at our paper shred fundraisers. All that is needed is a positive attitude and a willingness to give back to the community. Approximately 2-3 hours on a monthly basis.

We promote our programs and events through flyers that need to be posted in the Center and at various locations around town. Experience with programs such as Canva, Google Docs, PowerPoint, etc. is needed to help design promotional flyers at various times of the month.

Help us with database manipulation and spreadsheet maintenance. Requires ensuring all data is entered accurately; reviewing all information entered and making corrections where necessary. Experience with Excel and database skills required. This can be done at flexible times and may require 2-5 hours per month.

We’re always interested in meeting enthusiastic people with expertise, passion, or a special skill they would like to share with our members. Perhaps you can volunteer to: hold a TED Talk, speak to an audience about your work, passion, or hobbies; share photos from a unique travel experience – or whatever you may have to offer. We’re open to ideas!

Help keep our lending library organized by shelving and re-shelving books in proper areas. This entails approximately one hour per week, anytime the Center is open.

Help pack bags of food for families during distribution events. Volunteers also assist in packing fresh produce items in the kitchen.

Tend to the Giving Garden during spring and summer months. Volunteers help grow and maintain produce that is distributed to families in need.

Assist in preparing food and hygiene products for monthly distributions. Volunteers set out and organize items for families to select during distribution events.

Volunteers sort incoming donations, check expiration dates, and organize items on shelves to prepare for distribution. This role is crucial in ensuring that families receive safe and fresh products.

Young professionals, ages 18-35, who are dedicated to making a palpable difference in our community and are passionate about our cause. Members contribute to the development & expansion of the organization while having the opportunity to lead fundraising & awareness events, volunteer for MHM functions, and participate in local and national campaigns.

Volunteering at Moms Helping Moms is fun and rewarding! Join us in our air-conditioned/heated warehouse in Warren Township, Somerset County, to sort baby clothes, count diapers, and repackage loose diapers. We welcome individual volunteers, ages 14+, to help out in our warehouse on many weekdays.

Volunteers under 14 or those preferring off-site projects can host supply drives, create literacy flashcards, or collect and sort clothing. These activities support MHM's mission from various locations.

Assist with posting Friends of Brightwood Park activities on social media platforms. Capture and share the essence of events to engage the community and promote the park's activities.
