The Berwyn Heights Volunteer Fire Department is a busy department in the heart of Prince George's County, MD near the University of Maryland . We provide training, gear, and support to succeed. Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department is actively recruiting EMS only members. EMTs at Beltsville VFD staff our ambulance and provide emergency medical care to patients. EMTs are also responsible for maintaining and stocking EMS equipment as well as writing patient care reports. No prior experience? No problem. Maryland EMT training is provided for free through the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute. Graduates of the program gradate as a Nationally Registered EMT which is what many career fire departments look for when they are hiring.
