You need more than just a desire to help people in order to succeed. You need courage, dedication, assertiveness, and an open mind to learn new skills and face new challenges. You will also need to have the time for training sessions, meetings, emergency responses, and various other functions. There are many other ways to assist your community through the ETFD. These include EMS/Medical services, Junior Firefighting, Recruitment, Fund-Raising, Record-Keeping, Financial Services, Building Renovations, and Community Service. The personal rewards and satisfaction received from the volunteer fire service give every member a sense of accomplishment when a goal is achieved. The brotherhood and teamwork exemplified within the fire service helps individuals develop and maintain friendships. Accepting all volunteer applicants! We are always looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our firehouse to assist in our service of the community. We are a small department located in Stowe, Pennsylvania, which is adjacent to the Borough of Pottstown. We service 3 municipalities in 2 counties as parts of our first due run area. West Pottsgrove Township, Portions of Pottstown Borough, and portions of Douglass Township Berks County. Our department has 4 pieces of apparatus to service these municipalities which are, a Tanker, an Engine, a Squad (light rescue truck) and a Fire Police unit. We are always open to accepting applications of current firefighters that would like to volunteer to help our department, or, if fighting fires isn't for you, we have positions open to drive the apparatus, or be a member of the support staff! If you are new to volunteer firefighting and would like to learn, we offer in house training and, provide access to the fire academy at no cost to you! Brecknock Township continues to grow as does our need for volunteers. A truly family centric firehouse, we are looking for volunteers to support our fundraising, community support operations, and education initiatives. Upon graduation, each certified canine therapy team is assigned a location to volunteer based on the dog's temperament and the handler's preferences. Volunteers work in schools, hospitals, and veteran facilities, providing support and companionship to those in need.

Provide administrative support by helping with tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and responding to inquiries. This role supports the overall operations of the rescue.
