Westville Area Fire Protection District is a 100% volunteer service. We respond to calls including but not limited to structure fires, auto accidents, assistance to ambulance calls in our service area, calls for public service, as well as providing mutual aid to our neighbors. We are a member of MABAS division 40. We meet on Wednesdays at 7pm, all applicants are welcome! | Requirements: Must be 16 to 18 years of age to join the cadet program. After 18 you can join as a probationary firefighter. During your initial year you will receive training on gear, air packs, and other tools needed to do the job safely and efficiently. Training is provided by us, as well as other departments from time to time. We also use the Illinois Fire Service Institute to come and train as well.
