Volunteers are an incredible resource and asset to their community. As a volunteer, you will support the foundation’s mission by sharing your talent, time, and treasure with our target communities to create a greater impact.

Volunteers help with cleaning the pantry, sorting food, and date checking food. Specific activities will be determined the week before your sign-up date.

Support behind the scenes with tasks such as social media management, event planning, and administrative work. Volunteers will help ensure the smooth operation of programs and initiatives.

Lead a workshop on life skills, financial literacy, leadership, or entrepreneurship. Volunteers will facilitate sessions to equip participants with practical skills for personal and professional development.

Mentor a young person and help them build confidence and skills. Volunteers will provide guidance and support to youth aged 12-18, focusing on personal growth and leadership development.

Assist with community outreach and special events. Volunteers will support event planning and execution, as well as engage with the community to promote youth empowerment initiatives.

Assist in planting and maintaining street planters to beautify the community. Volunteers will work with a team to ensure plants are healthy and visually appealing.

Participate in litter cleanup initiatives to keep Gahanna clean and beautiful. Volunteers will collect litter from designated areas and dispose of it properly.

Assist with various tasks during dance performances and events, including ushering, ticketing, and providing information to attendees. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of events and enhancing the audience experience.

Volunteers are invited to send uplifting messages through the Virtual Card program or by mailing handmade or store-bought greeting cards. The goal is to provide reassurance, strength, and inspiration to recipients who need it.

Assist in moving equipment trailers and making local trips. Volunteers with a 3/4 ton truck are especially valuable.

Assist in moving props to DCI competitions and rehearsals. Volunteers will have their fuel covered and receive a pass to watch each DCI competition.

Provide medical support to ensure the well-being of members, staff, and volunteers. Licensed RNs with at least two years of experience are preferred.

Assist with special construction projects for the corps. Volunteers skilled in wood, metal (welding), or electricity are needed for repairs and improvements.

Help with fitting, assigning, and repairing uniforms. Tasks include inventorying items and making modifications, with or without sewing skills.

Assist with setting up registration and organizing member paperwork during camp. Volunteers with retail or sales experience are preferred.

Prepare and serve meals and snacks for over 50 students, staff, and volunteers during summer competitions. No prior cooking experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Provide a temporary home for small breed dogs in need of rescue. Responsibilities include caring for the dog's daily needs and helping them adjust to a home environment until a permanent home is found.

Offer your time and skills to empower survivors by providing support in areas such as mental health counseling, life skills training, and community reintegration. Volunteers play a crucial role in helping individuals rebuild their lives after trauma.

Join Four Seasons City Farm in transforming abandoned lots into vibrant gardens. Volunteers will engage in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops while fostering community connections and sustainability.
