The Brookhaven Fire Company is always looking for hardworking and dedicated individuals to join our volunteer organization. Over the past 2 decades the volunteer call volume has doubled. Brookhaven Fire Company have Training Drills every Tuesday starting at 6:30pm and hold General Meetings every 2nd Tuesday of each month. Our first due local is slated as a planned growth development area and we need to continuously increase our membership to grow with it. If you feel that you want to help our community by protecting property and saving lives then our organization could be for you. Types of Memberships There are several types of memberships: Fire- (Firefighter, Junior Firefighter) EMS-(First Responder,EMT) Contributing Member-They are not active firefighters and/or EMTs. Instead, these people dedicate their time to helping the company operate efficiently and effectively. Quite often, these people are retired lawyers, accountants, or other professionals that have the desire to keep their skills sharp while volunteering their time. Several of our Our Fire and EMS members are professionally trained in their respective fields and will work alongside their career company counterparts. Contributing members are non-emergency personnel that assist the company with fund raising and administrative responsibilities.
