In order to operate Brenham Fire Department apparatus you must have Class B exempt driver’s license. • The new firefighter recruit will be required to complete SFFMA Firefighter I within his first 6 months and SFFMA Firefighter II within 12 months of being voted into the department; Recruit firefighter will also be required to take and pass the SFFMA Firefighter I & II test; An extension may be approved if qualifications are not met due to extenuating circumstances.
