Help improve literacy and numeracy skills among elementary students in grades K-5 through engaging activities. Volunteers will work directly with students to explore reading beyond the classroom and discover math's practical uses in daily life.

Facilitate or support mentorship programs, guiding high school students as they mentor younger peers. Volunteers will help foster a culture of mentorship and leadership, enhancing educational outcomes and providing leadership experience to mentors.

Teach and mentor students in Empower Yourself MA programs, focusing on financial literacy, STEM, and other educational areas. Volunteers will provide guidance and support to help students succeed.

Assist in organizing and managing events for Empower Yourself MA, supporting students in their educational journey. Volunteers will help with logistics, coordination, and ensuring smooth event execution.

Volunteers provide support for cleaning the animals’ living quarters, stalls, and paddocks, and assist with direct animal care. Volunteers also help during events and with facility maintenance and improvements.

Volunteers assist during events, help with seasonal cleanup, and provide additional support for occasional tasks. This role is suitable for those who are not comfortable around animals but still want to contribute.

The Secretary keeps accurate minutes of all meetings, provides copies to the Executive Board, and notifies members of meetings. They maintain a file of the Corporation’s correspondence and ensure proper distribution of mail.

The Advancement Director raises funds to support the Corporation, identifies growth opportunities, and maintains a list of supporters. They plan support campaigns in coordination with officers and directors.

The Treasurer keeps accurate accounts of all financial transactions, works with the Membership Director to maintain a membership list, and submits financial reports at meetings. They also prepare filings required by state and federal agencies.

The Civil Records Director acts as the Corporation’s representative at legislative and administrative hearings, recommends policies, and files reports on actions taken. They coordinate with the Records Preservation and Access Committee.

The Genetic Genealogy Director monitors changes in DNA access laws, advancements in genealogy research, and terms of service affecting genealogy website users.

The Archives Director is responsible for the custody and preservation of the Corporation’s records and maintains an inventory of all legal documents and property.

Volunteers assist in the maintenance and preservation of cemeteries in Middleborough, MA. Tasks may include cleaning gravestones, landscaping, and participating in organized events. Volunteers can choose to become members by completing a set number of volunteer hours.
