Assist with safely transporting cats to and from spay/neuter appointments by picking up cats from caregivers, delivering them to the transport location, and returning them to their caregivers after the procedure. Requires a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Participate in trail building and maintenance events every 3rd Saturday of each month. No experience or tools are needed as training and tools are provided.

Play a key role in reaching caregivers and reducing cat overpopulation in high-need areas by helping connect with local residents to provide spay/neuter resources and support for the cats in their care. This involves going door-to-door in pre-selected neighborhoods to identify residents in need of services and provide education about cat care.

Manage a 1-3 mile section of trail by walking it quarterly to prune brush, clear obstacles, remove debris, and report trail conditions. Training and evaluation forms are provided.

Help manage the HHC booth at outreach events such as the Hoosier Outdoor Experience. Engage with the public and promote the organization's mission.

Train to become a Home Visit volunteer to help Golden Retrievers find their forever homes. Volunteers will conduct home visits to ensure a safe and loving environment for the dogs.

Review incoming applications to adopt or foster Golden Retrievers. Volunteers will assess applications to ensure suitable matches for the dogs.

Assist with organizing and participating in special events throughout Indiana. Volunteers help plan and execute events, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.

Assist with planning and organizing fundraising events to support GRRACE's mission. Volunteers will help with logistics, promotion, and execution of events.

Transport volunteers are responsible for safely transporting Golden Retrievers from shelters or surrendering owners to foster homes. Volunteers can structure their hours to fit their own schedule.

Assist with the care and rehabilitation of rescued animals, ensuring their medical and behavioral needs are met. Volunteers help prepare animals for adoption by providing love, care, and support.

Join Indiana K9 Search & Recovery as a volunteer to assist in missing persons search and recovery operations. Volunteers will work with trained K9 teams to support scent-specific trailing, area searches, and water recovery missions.

Provide love and comfort in a home-setting for pets awaiting adoption. Foster families act as a bridge between homelessness and a permanent home.

Volunteer at the reception desk in the Adoption Center. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors, assisting Adoption Counselors, accepting donations, and performing light clerical tasks.
