The work performance of all Volunteer firefighters is continuously evaluated for general knowledge, skill proficiency, and ability to work as part of a team. | Requirements: As a Basic Volunteer Firefighter, You will attend the Basic Volunteer Firefighter with Live Fire course( 95 training hours) your first year. This course meets the current mandatory training for volunteer firefighters who will be serving in a response and mitigation capacity as required by Georgia Firefighters Standards and Training Council. To be state certified as a firefighter in Georgia; You must be at least 18 years old. Be in good physical condition as determined by a medical examination.
