We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals whom are looking to begin their career in the fire service. You must live within 30 miles of the Oak Grove Fire District and be willing to staff the station 16-32 hours per week. Established in 1994 we are a 35 square mile rural volunteer fire protection district located in NW Wagoner county. We average 350 calls per year. Currently we have two stations, 11 apparatuses, and 25 members on the roster. | Requirements: You will be required to complete a 90 day probationary period. After probationary reauiremts have been completed you are eligible to be voted onto the fire department as a rookie firefighter. Within your first two years on the department you are required to obtain your Firefighter 1 certification and obtain a medical license. EMR, EMT, or Paramedic.
