Jasper Fire Protection District covers approximately 120 square miles which includes the city of Jasper and surround rural area in northern Jasper County and Southern Barton County. The District runs approximately 250 calls a year. This includes structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle fires, medical calls, Motor vehicle collisions, water rescues, search and rescue, and haz-mat calls. | Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license. Junior firefighters may join the District at age 16 with written consent from parents. No previous experience needed.
