Collaborate with policymakers and community leaders to influence legislative change that addresses the root causes of incarceration. Volunteers will assist with research and advocacy efforts.

Assist in creating a strong network of support where women can connect, share experiences, and uplift one another. Volunteers will help organize community events and support group activities.

Support women in reconnecting with their families to foster healthy relationships and stability during their transition. Volunteers will assist with organizing family events and providing logistical support.

Help assemble hygiene kits for community members. Volunteers will organize and pack essential hygiene products into kits for distribution.

Assist in packing food bags for distribution to families in need. Volunteers will work in small groups to ensure efficient packing and distribution.

Help package household disinfectants for community distribution. Volunteers will ensure proper packaging and labeling of disinfectant products.

Assist in assembling PPE kits for distribution to the community. Volunteers will pack personal protective equipment into kits for those in need.

The Villa Hills Fire Department operates out of 1 station with 3 fire apparatus and has been rated as an ISO Class 4. Attorneys seeking pro bono opportunities can work with the MICA Project to provide legal assistance to low-income immigrants.

Interpreters provide in-person services to facilitate communication when a client and our attorneys do not speak the same language. Translators convert documents to English. Volunteers play a crucial role in providing low-cost, high-quality services.

Volunteers assist with copying, filing, preparing mailings, grant applications, and other office work to support attorneys. Volunteers help lighten the workload and are highly appreciated.

Volunteers help with planning campaigns, fundraisers, and communicating with donors. Tasks include event planning, writing letters, developing website content, and social media management.

Assist with makeup and hair styling for cast members. Training and guidance will be provided to all volunteers.

Help build sets for the youth theater productions. Volunteers will be guided through the process, so no prior experience is needed.

Help organize and take photos of the cast during rehearsals and performances. Volunteers will receive guidance on photography needs.

Assist residents with exterior home maintenance tasks such as painting, yard work, and minor repairs. Volunteers will work under the guidance of SHED coordinators to support community members in need.

Participate in substantial exterior and interior rehab projects, providing hands-on experience in construction and landscaping. Volunteers will work alongside community youth to enhance their skills and contribute to neighborhood revitalization.

Assist with ticket sales and customer service at the box office. Volunteers will be trained on the necessary procedures.
