True 100 % Volunteer Fire Department organized in 1952. We are a small town 28 roster capable Fire Department that is searching for individuals that are physically capable, and community minded that is willing to get Michigan State certified Volunteer Fire Fighter 1 and 2 as required by the State of Michigan. We respond to a variety of different types of calls from structural fires to vehicle accidents, we also provide mutual aide to 4 neighboring fire departments and we are available to provide mutual aid to any and all departments in Marquette County if requested. Be part of a small group of volunteers that are willing to run into potentially hazardous situations to help the community in its time of need! We currently have 15 members but can have up to 30. We have a relatively low call volume, but have regular meetings, trainings, and special events within the community.
