Assist with the seasonal changeover in March and August, helping to organize and restock items for foster children. Volunteers will sort and arrange clothing and other essentials to ensure a smooth transition between seasons.

Participate in organizing and hosting holiday parties for foster children, creating a festive and welcoming environment. Volunteers will help with decorations, activities, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.

Load recorded books on a computer in a secure file, print a QR code, and mail the book to the caregiver. This role may involve a trip to the post office.

The Unadilla Twp. Fire Department is seeking those interested in joining us as EITHER fire fighter responders (both fire and EMS) OR EMS Division responders (no fire-fighting). We are seeking motivated, dedicated, team-oriented citizens within or near the township to join our team. We are a paid-on-call/volunteer department. Volunteers with expertise in body movement are needed to lead physical activity sessions for seniors. This role involves creating and guiding exercises that promote physical health and well-being.

Join a directionally-based event creation team to help organize seasonal community events such as Ancestor Feast, Movie Night, and Story Feast.

Practice and demonstrate a nature-based craft or skill on-site during classes, allowing young people to observe and participate in traditional outdoor skills.

Assist with weekly youth classes by observing and supporting activities that connect children with nature. Volunteers are encouraged to visit a class to observe before committing.

Assist the organization by writing grant applications and developing fundraising campaigns to support their educational programs and community events.

Assist in organizing and hosting occasional events to support the local foods community. Volunteers will help connect with local farmers and promote sustainable practices.

Help us sow seeds during winter by scattering them on top of the snow. Volunteers will focus on areas recently cleared of invasive buckthorn and overseed the meadow to improve wildflower diversity.

Join us in our efforts to clear invasive buckthorn in the area east of the Greenview pond. Volunteers will help drag cut buckthorn limbs to the curb for disposal and assist with trash pickup in the park.
