Full membership eligibility begins at 18 years of age. When am I on duty? Members have a variety of duty options and shifts, with primary coverage needed during weeknights, weekends, and weekend nights. We have bunk rooms, as well as comfortable facilities for studying, sleeping, cooking and relaxing when not on calls. Do I get paid? Trained volunteer firefighters and EMTs are available to participate in our monthly stipend program. Depending on your activity level, you may be eligible for a monthly stipend between $50 and $800. What training will I receive? Evesham Fire-Rescue will provide Firefighter and/or Emergency Medical Technician certification through one of our local fire and EMS academies. Training courses are available during the evening hours and on weekends. All tuition, equipment, and safety gear is provided by the department. Required training for a firefighter consists of approximately 125 hours of basic firefighting techniques including; fire behavior, rescue, salvage, overhaul, ladder practices, ventilation, firefighting tactics, water supply and more. Required training for an Emergency Medical Technician consists of a 240 hour state certification course which includes ambulance operations, CPR, bandaging, splinting, oxygen delivery, patient assessment, and more. Mentors will work directly with female youth participants, providing guidance and support in areas such as effective communication, anger management, and life-skills development. Volunteers should be committed to fostering a positive and empowering environment.

Volunteer mentors work with high school students to introduce them to potential careers in architecture, construction, and engineering. Mentors guide students in hands-on projects, helping them understand real-world applications of their studies and develop skills in design, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Ace Mentor Program Of Annapolis
ACE Mentors guide high school students in exploring careers in architecture, engineering, and construction. Mentors are expected to dedicate up to 30 hours during the school year, sharing their professional knowledge and serving as role models.
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
Greet visitors at the Nature Center, assist with animal care and tabling, and help maintain the grounds and wildlife enclosures. Volunteers also support events, weddings, and festivals.
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge
Assist in the care and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife at the Wildlife Hospital. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, and providing general care for the animals.
Cloud Cloth Education
Volunteers will read their Dream Banners aloud from the Dream Stage to a live and online audience. Participants must practice their reading to ensure clarity and impact. Volunteers will need to check in at the event location or connect via Zoom at the specified times.
