Volunteers coordinate and attend Meet & Greets at various locations to introduce Greyhounds to potential adopters. Responsibilities include setting up events, handling Greyhounds, and engaging with the public to provide information about adoption.

Volunteers are needed to assist at the museum and during events. Responsibilities may include greeting visitors, providing information, and helping with event setup and management.

Help at adoption events by managing leashes and sharing the organization's mission with the community. Events occur from spring to fall.

Take quality photos of adoptable animals by meeting with foster coordinators and families. These photos help showcase the animals for adoption.

Assist in transporting animals to vet appointments, adoption events, and for supply pick-up/drop-off. Regular travel between Spokane and Kootenai County is needed.

Create and distribute the monthly newsletter and update the mailer system with new emails/mailing addresses. Requires computer skills to use Mailer Lite, writing skills, and familiarity with Canva.

Spokane County Fire District #13 is a rural/wildland interface area, located 13 miles northeast of Spokane Valley, Washington. Current staffing includes community, resident, and shift volunteer firefighters. Average call volume is 150 calls per year, providing medical rescue, fire suppression, and service calls.
