We are a combination fire department that responds to approximately 1600 calls for service annually. Responsibilities range from treating patients medically to structure fires, hazmat incidents, vehicle accidents, weather related incidents and a wide variety of miscellaneous calls. You will also be responsible for driving and operating the pumps of the apparatus, covering shifts at the fire station, and participating in our various public education programs. All of our firefighters are trained medically to the EMT level and minimum level of Operations for Hazardous Materials response. Training and meetings are on Monday nights and calls come in at all hours of the day/night. You will receive an hourly wage when responding to calls, meetings,drills and covering shifts. Retirement pension available with 10+ years of service.
