The Duncan Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer department. We cover about 110 square miles in Platte and Polk counties in Nebraska. Majority of our calls are for smaller incidents such as grass and field fires. We also respond to a number of vehicle accidents as well. The Duncan Volunteer Fire Department has recently taken over EMS responsibilities and now is running our own ambulance as well to support the residents of our district. This is a BLS ambulance service but we strive to provide the best possible patient care we can. Our department operates as one and firefighters and EMTs respond to all calls that they are available for. Some are even cross trained to support any function that may be needed. Our average call load is currently around 80 total calls combined per year. | Requirements: 19 years old Valid drivers license Free from felony convictions | Categories: Firefighter, EMT
