At LaGrange Fire and Rescue we are a volunteer department that is supplemented by part time personnel. The men and women of the fire department are comprised of people from all walks of life who strive to provide a professional service to the communities they live and work in. Drop-In Volunteers are welcome during Open Shop hours to assist with various tasks around the shop. Volunteers do not need bicycle mechanic experience, and all skill levels are encouraged to help with organizing, cleaning, and other non-bike-related tasks.

Volunteer librarians assist with the operation of the Louisville Tool Library during open hours. Orientation is provided through a shadow shift during open library hours.

Participate in the Vision Zero Task Force meetings to help strategize and implement plans for reducing traffic fatalities and serious injuries in Louisville. Volunteers will engage in discussions and contribute ideas to promote safer streets.
