Organize a food drive by bringing together your workplace, community, or circle of friends to collect food for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Use provided tips, posters, and instructions to ensure a successful drive.

Individual volunteers aged 18 and older are welcome to join the sorting line to sort canned food and produce/perishable foods for distribution to pantries and on-site feeding agencies. Volunteers must be physically able to stand for two-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.

Volunteers assist food bank staff with on-site set-up and preparation, and help neighbors as they enter the Mobile Food Pantry, shop aboard, and depart. Volunteers are crucial in providing lean proteins, fresh produce, shelf-stable food, and basic necessities to those in need.

Join us at Bacon Ridge Natural Area to help remove invasive plants from along the trails. This program is vital for protecting the health of our largest conservation easement and is scheduled on designated trail workdays, typically in spring.

Volunteers are needed to help run the annual springtime event at the Bacon Ridge Natural Area. Responsibilities include leading guided hikes, assisting with event setup, parking, registration, and more. Volunteers will be notified about opportunities through social media and the monthly newsletter.

As a tutor, you will help individuals with Down syndrome learn reading or math skills. The commitment is one hour per week for ten weeks, working directly with the family to schedule sessions.

The Program Leader facilitates skill development activities and connects with families during GiGi’s Playhouse Programs. Advanced education or training in developmental therapy, occupational therapy, or a related field is preferred.
