Help with fundraising efforts by spreading the word and working at volunteer events as needed.

Socialize semi-feral kittens by feeding, playing, and interacting with them. Volunteers are needed as required for kittens 8 weeks or older.

Assist with trapping feral cats by communicating with clients, setting traps, and transporting cats to and from Lucky's for surgery and recovery. Volunteers are needed Sunday through Thursday, usually 6pm or later.

Transport cats to and from the spay/neuter clinic, ensuring they are checked in and out properly. Volunteers must be over 25 and available Monday through Friday during the morning and late afternoon.

Join the Stanton Old Fashioned Days Committee to help plan and organize the annual festival. Members work year-round to ensure the success of the event and improve the festival experience each year.

Join us on a Work Day to help maintain the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail. Tasks include painting, cutting brush, trash removal, and trimming trees. Volunteers should wear work clothes and bring gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, water, and any helpful equipment.

Participate in community outreach events to promote the festival and engage with local residents. Volunteers should be enthusiastic about community involvement and capable of representing the festival positively.

Volunteers are needed to assist with daily tasks such as cleaning animal housing, changing water, scrubbing dishes, and distributing straw. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 4 hours per month and be able to withstand outdoor conditions.

Responds to fire alarms and extinguishes fire. Responds to calls for emergency medical services, and renders first aid. Performs salvage operations such as throwing salvage covers, sweeping water and removing debris. Responds to and renders assistance in a variety of emergencies. Cleans and inspects equipment and apparatus after returning from a fire. Inspects equipment and apparatus and notifies superior officer of any defects. Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, and keeps records of such action. Keeps fire station, equipment and grounds in a clean and orderly condition; Participates in training activities and instruction sessions. Acquires and retains a thorough knowledge of the jurisdiction, including streets, buildings, water supply, unusual hazards and related items. Performs various public information or education tasks. | Requirements: 18 years of age or older with High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Michigan Driver License with safe driving record. No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
