Assist with educational activities such as local habitat studies, hydrology, geology, and soil science. Volunteers will help facilitate learning events and engage with participants in outdoor settings.

Partner with staff and physicians to improve care and services at WellSpan by providing feedback and suggestions from a patient and family perspective.

Provide patient concierge services, aid, and pampering to enhance the patient experience. Volunteers are expected to have a friendly demeanor and a commitment to patient care.

Work with a WellSpan-approved pet therapy organization to provide comfort and support to patients through pet interactions.

Join us for an outdoor adventure at different locations in York County each week as we explore to see what birds are in the area. These are informal walks and anyone with an interest in nature is welcome to attend, regardless of skill level or membership status. Experienced members are encouraged to share their knowledge with newcomers.

Provide temporary homes for dogs and cats in need, ensuring they receive necessary medical care and attention. Volunteers should be committed to the well-being of the animals and work towards finding them permanent homes.

Assist in off-loading truck deliveries, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. Volunteers will help organize and store deliveries for future distribution.

Assist in the food pantry on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Responsibilities include lifting and navigating stairs to help distribute food items.

Assist families by sorting clothing donations and stocking the clothing area on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or Wednesdays from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Requires climbing stairs and moderate lifting.

Help maintain the flower beds on Broad Street and raised beds at Chrystal’s Place. This opportunity is open to individuals of all ages.
