Assist with programs coordinated with the Darrington and neighboring school districts, incorporating STrEaMs curriculum into the classroom. Activities may take place in various settings and are dependent on COVID regulations.

Assist in planning, leading, and facilitating youth STrEaMs activities. Participate in hands-on lessons and activities such as hiking, tree tapping, rafting, and more. Events typically occur after school or during no-school days.

Assist with planting, restoration, construction, trash clean-up, and more. Volunteers are required to sign a general participant/volunteer waiver. These activities do not involve leading youth programs.

Lead programs with youth, supported by Washington State University's 4H program. Volunteers will undergo background checks and complete training modules to equip them for working with youth.

Volunteers at the Interpretive Center welcome guests, provide information on eagle watching spots, work in the gift shop, and assist with guided nature walks. Volunteers are encouraged to attend training sessions to learn about the Skagit River watershed, eagles, and salmon.
