Work with our staff to teach kids hands-on bicycle repair, bicycle safety when riding, and how to maintain their bicycle. Volunteers will also assist with inventory of supplies and tools, writing grant proposals, general office support, and public relations materials.

Social Coaching Facilitator Assistants support adults with disabilities, primarily from the Greater Lansing area, by attending weekly group meetings and outings. Assistants help a trained facilitator conduct group meetings, and must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma.

Volunteers participate in the Shoes of Hope event, where they help distribute shoes and socks to children and adults in need. Responsibilities include welcoming participants, sharing stories of hope, washing feet, and providing new footwear.

Contribute articles and content for the chapter's e-newsletter, focusing on environmental issues and volunteer opportunities. Ideal for those with strong writing skills and a passion for environmental advocacy.

Lead outdoor outings for the chapter, helping participants connect with nature and learn about environmental issues. This position is statewide and requires a passion for the outdoors and environmental education.

The Delhi Township Fire Department has been minimizing the impact of community emergencies since 1924. We are proud public servants of our community. We are a combination department meaning, we have 15 full time Firefighter/Paramedics, 5 part time Firefighter EMT's, and 8 paid on call firefighters who respond to the station as needed. With the increase in call volume and the decrease in part time and paid on call staffing, we are looking for those who are willing to answer the call. Participate in planting flowers and maintaining public spaces to enhance the beauty of Southwest Lansing. Volunteers will work in teams to transform and maintain community gardens and public areas.

Assist in organizing and managing community events, including clean-ups, live music, and pop-up markets. Volunteers will help set up, engage with attendees, and ensure events run smoothly.

Volunteer mechanics work on donated bicycles for resale and help walk-in cyclists fix their own bikes using the shop space and tools. All skill levels are welcome, and volunteering is a great way to learn bicycle mechanic skills.
