Mitchell County Fire Rescue utilizes a hybrid approach when training for the Firefighter 1 course, which combines online classroom work, in-person lectures, and hands-on skills training. We are a small combination fire department staffed primarily by volunteers. We are located in South West Georgia. We have 22 Stations spread over our county and constantly need volunteers to fill these stations.
