Assist in transporting dogs from quarantine facilities to foster families, adoption events, or vet appointments across New England. Mileage is tax-deductible.

Conduct home visits for potential adopters or foster families, addressing key points provided in a form. Each visit typically takes 15-30 minutes and is a critical part of the adoption process.

Assist in brainstorming fundraising ideas, writing grant applications, and contacting businesses for donations to support the rescue's mission.

Volunteers are needed to assist with trail maintenance and restoration teams at the Carmel Woods, Foster's Island, and Doyle Link reservations. Responsibilities include clearing trails, removing obstacles, and reporting any significant issues to the Conservation Department.

Participate in organizing and managing Dine-To-Donate events. Volunteers help coordinate with local restaurants and promote events to raise funds for music education.

Assist in sorting bottles and cans during CFOM's fundraising drives. Volunteers help ensure the success of these events, which directly impact the funding of music education programs.

Support the organization and execution of student talent shows and social events. Responsibilities include event setup, coordination, and assisting performers.

Manage snack tables at various CFOM events, ensuring a smooth operation and excellent customer service. Volunteers contribute to fundraising efforts through sales.

Support the smooth running of meetings, demonstrations, and lectures by assisting the demonstrator, setting up and cleaning up, checking memberships, and handling raffle ticket sales.

Assist with various tasks related to art exhibitions, including art intake, set-up, hanging, decorating, and creating labels. Volunteers also help with hosting duties such as baking, set-up, and clean-up for exhibition receptions.

Help animals and families in need by volunteering at one of the MSPCA adoption centers. This role involves assisting with the care of animals and supporting the adoption process.

CASA volunteers are specially trained individuals appointed by a judge to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children throughout Essex County. Volunteers must complete a 40-hour pre-service training and gather information to support their advocacy efforts in court.
