Rainbow Lakes Fire Department is an ALL volunteer fire department located in Dunnellon, Florida. It is a department of approximately 15 support and combat firefighters. Rainbow Lakes Estates has approximately 5000 residents in 15 square miles. All of our apparatus are up to date along with our equipment. Our newest truck is 2 years old and our oldest is 15 years old. Come be part of an up and coming department with fresh ideas, our Fire Chief is 32 years old and is also a Career Firefighter. Bring your experience and ideas into our department and help freshen things up. Looking for qualified firefighters who went to fire school and are not currently employed as a firefighter in the State of Florida. Who are willing to pull shifts to man the station 24/7. Our department currently does not pay any stipend or benefit to be in the department. Conduct home visits for potential adoptive families and fosters to ensure a safe and loving environment for the animals. Volunteers help educate families about the benefits of fostering or adopting.

Administrative support volunteers assist with various office tasks and help explore charitable partnership opportunities with businesses.

Fundraising volunteers support B.R.A.T.S. Alliance by organizing and participating in various fundraising activities. Volunteers help raise funds to support rescue operations and animal care.

Transport volunteers assist in picking up pets from shelters, other volunteer transporters, or fosters, and help take them to their forever homes or vet appointments. Reliable, pet-friendly transportation is required.

Participate in fundraising activities and outreach programs to support the Boykin Spaniel Health Organization's mission. Volunteers will help organize events and engage with the community.

Join the Health & Research committee to support studies and initiatives aimed at improving the health of Boykin Spaniels. Volunteers will assist in gathering and analyzing data, and supporting ongoing research projects.

Assist in creating educational materials and marketing campaigns to raise awareness about Boykin Spaniel health. Volunteers will help in content creation and outreach efforts.

Support Boykin Spaniel owners facing hardship by providing assistance and resources. Volunteers will work directly with families to offer support and guidance.

Participate in the 'Ring the Bell' event at Tampa Bay Downs, collecting donations and engaging with the public to support retired racehorses. Volunteers will enjoy a day at the races while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Assist in organizing and managing horse shows, ensuring smooth operations and a great experience for participants and spectators. Volunteers will help with various tasks including setup, coordination, and event management.

Engage in recruiting new volunteers and promoting the organization's events and mission. Responsibilities include online networking, distributing flyers, and assisting with local promotions to raise awareness and support.

Assist in organizing and facilitating bi-weekly Maker Meetups at Infinite Ale Works. Volunteers will help set up the space, welcome participants, and support collaborative projects during the meetups.
